From Stellplatz Liberec, you can get to the city centre comfortably by tram no. 3 from the Hanychov kostel stop. The stop is about 800 metres from the site, roughly a 12-minute walk. The tram takes you towards the centre without having to deal with parking in the city.
If you do not want to walk to the tram stop, or if you are returning later in the evening, you can use Bolt or local taxi services. The drive to the centre of Liberec usually takes around 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
You can set off for Ještěd directly from the stopover using several walking routes. Depending on the route and your fitness, it can be a shorter walk or a more demanding hike.
For trips to the Jizera Mountains, it is practical to take a bus from the centre of Liberec. This is especially useful if you want to walk part of the route and do not want to return to the same car park.
